Repeat Prescriptions
Clients: Please use the form below to request repeat prescriptions for your animal. Please allow at least 2 working days notice so that your request can be authorised by a veterinary surgeon.
If you require medications for more than one pet, please submit a separate request for each animal.
We generally ask to re-examine your pet every 6 months, to look for any changes in , for instance arthritic or skin conditions and for any side effects or new problems. The law requires that this check is done when prescribing prescription only medicines. This may be adjusted according to each individual animal's condition, for instance a dog with serious heart failure may be advised to have minimum 3 monthly checks. The cost for a Prescription Repeat Consultation is £21.60 , we will check heart, lungs, abdomen, skin, joints, eyes and ears, colour and advise if bloods to check liver and kidney function are advisable. It is always useful if you are able to bring along a urine sample from dogs at their prescription check, cost of quick dipstick test £2.10.
